	News and Events August 1, 2009 We are pleased to be supporting the 2009 Pan-Mass Challenge. The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-e-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2008, Gillian Cook, founder of Cook Group Technology, rode on the Pedals for Pediatrics team, cycling 170 miles in 2 days, raising funds specifically to provide support to patients and families within Dana-Farber/Children's Hospital Cancer Care. Mundy Katowitz Media is a Democratic political media buying firm located in Washington, DC. MKM progressive clients include candidates and organizations nationwide. MKM is responsible for seeing to it that their message is seen and heard by their audience, be it on television, radio, internet, or outdoor advertising. October 15, 2007 The bi-annual e-cycling event is scheduled for October 27, 2007. Cook Group Technology clients are set to e-cycle old computer hardware including computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc. E-cycling allows for safe environmental disposal of potentially dangerous metals including lead and mercury. May 31, 2007 A new tech article "Old Computer: Trash or Treasure" by Cook Group Techology is published in the Grant Circular Magazine focusing on the benefits of e-cycling and tax deductible donations of older computer hardware. May/June Grant Circular Magazine. May 5, 2007 Gillian Cook, founder of Cook Group Technology, hosts a successful private benefit event for Calvary Women's Services. Funds were raised to purchase new computers for the organization. "It was a great success!. October 15 , 2006 Cook Group Technology awarded IT support contract with Calvary Women’s Services. March 30, 2006 Cook Group Technology continues its effort to help with the ever increasing amount of technology "trash." March 3, 2006 Cook Group Technology to travel to Democratic Republic of Congo to oversee network implementation of project office for SECID "Value Chain for Agricultural Products" project funded under a grant from the USDA Food for Progress Program.
